Scallywags prides itself for using only the highest quality materials and techniques to provide a strong, reliable and long-lasting dog leash.
The eye splicing technique used on all our leashes is what makes them really stand out. Splicing is a method of creating a permanent eye in a rope by passing the jacket into the core and core into the jacket and "milking" it back into itself.
This successfully helps maintain nearly all of the ropes strength as opposed to knotting or sewing the rope together where it can loose up to 60% of its strength.
